Plus Minus BlackBerry 7250

The BlackBerry 7250 takes all of the businesslike features that BlackBerry is famous for and improves. The BlackBerry 7250 is designed for the business or corporate professional. This is quite similar to several other BlackBerry models. The communication facilities in the phone take precedence over the so called fun features that dominate other brands of cell phones. With quality and reliability at the top of their priority list, those that use the BlackBerry line of phones will nit be disappointed by the 7250.

Plus  :

  • Photos Store :  Photos on BlackBerry, Easily saved from the web.
  • Size : This unit is smaller than the 6750 not by much, but noticeable for sure.
  • Screen display :  While the screen is smaller, Fonts small so you can read more on the screen. RIM also packaged their own set of fonts for their new OS as well, and they look to be great for tiny displays.
  • Backlit display : The display has two brightness settings. The lighter setting is fine and still very usable, however it is the brightest setting that makes all the difference. It makes a way better flashlight.
  • Web Browser : Research in Motion actually built their own browser for this one, and it puts the older 3rd party ones they had licenced to shame. It supports JavaScript, Cascading StyleSheets, and even looks like it respects handheld media stylesheets as well.
  • Attachments : This unit ships with built in, intelligent attachment handling. You can view spreadsheets, word processed documents, PDFs and images with ease. This is my top feature, without a doubt. Hopefully in future versions actually be able to modify the attachments and send them back.

Minus  :

  • No charging cradle : This unit gets its charge from a USB cable, but there is no desktop cradle to place the handheld in. The cord has to sit  well, anywhere, and that’s the problem.
  • Quick phone access : There has always been a button to jump straight to the phone. In this unit it is on the top. Right where anyone has to push down to place the unit in the belt clip.

Professionals who travel quite extensively will find the 7250 a good choice. It has complete wireless and hands free capabilities, allowing you to make and receive calls as well as check and send email. All of these tasks can be performed without having to pull over, removing your hands from the wheel, or breaking your concentration. The added safety and security that hands free and wireless capabilities can provide are of great value to business professionals and their families. The BlackBerry 7250 has made some improvements on previous phones. Users are very happy with its email capacity and wireless capabilities. The full size keyboard and display function of the phone seem to be among the most positive aspects of the phone. Users are also seemingly happy with the strength and durability of the 7250. The screen is resistant to scratches and damage.
